Potato and cottage cheese Arrows

After lunch I had boiled potato leftover, so I let my fantasy take me away 🙂 These arrows are really greate and cheese is here a must. But you should be careful with the salt, because cheese already has it inside.

Potato and cottage cheese Arrows

Time needed:
Yields: 2 servings
Calories: 324 kcal / 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 150 g potatoes, boiled
  • 150 g cottage cheese
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 3-4 tbsps. flour
  • salt

Directions:

  • Ground potatoes and cottage cheese.
  • Add cheese, egg and flour. Dough should be soft but not sticky.
  • Roll it on a floured surface till 0,5 cm thickness and cut with arrow form.
  • Bake in a hot oil from both sides.

I’ve never prepared this soup with sour cream, but it’s really good. So from now on I think I won’t by expensive sour milk that is made specially for this soup, but will buy cheaper and add some sour cream. Because it’s delicious too!

It’s almost summer so we could wait anymore for fresh vegetables from our own garden and started to by tomatoes, cucumbers and salads. Now we can eat salads for lunch and dinner. But I’m looking carefully to the future and seeking new ideas for great refreshing food. One of the findings is this salads. It looks very simple, but all ingredients are balanced and suits each other. And for the best it is so quickly prepared that you can make it for lunch – just chop vegetables in the morning and by some curd before going to the office. 😉
