One of my hubby favourite cakes. I like it too, just we made it so many times that I think now we need a break.

Cake from crackers “Little fishes”

Time needed:
Yields: 10 servings
Calories: 328 kcal / 1 serving

Ingredients:
1 cup = 237 ml

  • 0,5 l sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1-2 bananas, grated
  • 0,5 kg unsalted crackers (can be with poppyseeds)

Directions:

  • Mix sour cream with sugar and grated bananas.
  • Add crackers and mix well. Let sit for 20-30 minutes in room temperature, mixing time after time.
  • Line bowl with steeper sides with cling film. Pour into it crackers’ mixture and press well. Leave for a few hours to let the cream soften the crackers.
  • Turn out the cake and decorate with grated chocolate. Of course this is optional.

This cake is not very sweet, so if you like sweeter add 1 cup of sugar. That I did when baked second time. Because of the bigger sugar amount batter was more runny so I skipped sour cream.
