Warm pasta salads with feta

Author: Aušra

Date:

The weather is getting cold so I was looking for the warm food, but I didn’t want anything heavy so I suggest you to try this pasta dish with vegetables. It’s satisfying but refreshing at the same time (because of tomatoes).

Warm pasta salads with feta

Time needed:
Yields: 4 servings
Calories: 319 kcal / serving

Ingredients:

  • 200 g pasta
  • 1 (about 200 g) zucchini
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 10 black olives, pitted
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 200 g feta
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • fresh basil
  • oil for frying

Directions:

  • Boil the pasta.
  • Meanwhile cut zucchini and bell pepper and fry in oil for a few minutes.
  • Slice olives in thin rings.
  • Cut tomatoes and feta in small squares, crush the garlic.
  • Drain pasta and mix with other ingredients, except feta. Put feta at the end – if the pasta will be warm enough, feta will melt and will be like a sauce.
  • Enjoy!

Fritata su šparaginėmis pupelėmis ir pomidorais

Frittata with green beans and tomatoes

Frequently for breakfast we have simply baked eggs because it’s warm, quick and tasty. Even by daughter seeing us eating baked eggs tried and liked them. So now whole family eats baked eggs in the morning 🙂

Makaronai su alyvuogėmis

Pasta with olives

One more easy and quick pasta recipe. If you like olives, this dish will be definitely in your favourite list. Sometimes, when I prepare some new dish – everyone in my family likes it, but when I repeat it – the second time we don’t. Maybe it happens to you to? But this time, when I prepared this pasta again, my hubbies decision was the same – absolutely winner.

Vištienos ir cukinijų pyragas

Chicken and zucchini pie

I can say that this is almost the same as Zucchini pie with tuna just tuna changed to chicken. Also I can say that I found out it only after a few times I baked this pie. Their taste are very different. They both are favourites in our family. Just now I bake with chicken more, because my kids don”t eat tuna, but pie with the chicken eats one of my kids.

Kukurūzų salotos

Corn salads

This salads were prepared by my kids 🙂 And it’s simple but really goods. Tomatoes and cucumber gives freshness, and potatoes – satiety. My kids ate without onions, because they were the chefs 🙂 But for adults I recommend to add onion springs.

Maltos mėsos ir cukinijų kepsnys

Zucchini meatloaf

Very moist meatloaf. The taste is very mild so very delicious with hot tomato sauce.
