Chicken with Baked Rhubarb

Author: Aušra

Date:

I do as always – I add recipe here only when rhubarb season is over. Even if I prepared this in the beginning of the season. But this dish is suitable for those who like sweet and sour food and for those who like meat with fruits. In the baked chicken we tasted rhubarb only a little bit, and the whole chicken taste was great. Also, I blended baked rhubarbs and served as the sauce – it was really delicious for me and my daughter.

Chicken with oregano and onions

Chicken with oregano and onions

Very juicy, fragrant chicken. Even little eaters can easily chew it. I tried both, chicken and turkey, and both tasted incredibly good.

Baked chicken livers with onion and tomato sauce

From the childhood we all know that livers are very healthy to eat, but knowing doesn’t mean that you do it. One day I decided to make chicken liver pate and they were very delicious but I had some liver leftover and started to look for some new recipe. I found it in one of my favourite books and it looked very similar to the dish that my mom used to make when I was a child. So I gave it a try and me and my hubby enjoyed it a lot! Sadly but my kids didn’t understand us and didn’t eat. But anyway now this recipe is one of my favourites, because it’s so quick that for making and eating it I spend less than an hour.

Sesame chicken with garlic sauce

Easily prepared chicken with a mild taste of sesame. My family liked it. Just don’t make mistake like me – don’t fry chicken on a very high heat – it burns very quickly 🙂 But chicken was good – baked but not overbaked, tender and juicy. And the garlic sauce is very easy, but my hubby liked it a lot 🙂 As always in my family – the easier the dish, the better my family evaluates it.

Muffins with rhubarbs and walnuts

At last this hear I grew some rhubarbs. And baked this muffins in June, but they appear on my blog only now. Sorry 🙂 These muffins are soft and I recommendto bake them in paper forms. I sprinkled some with cinnamon mixture, some didn’t. My hubby decided that with cinnamon is better. And I, cinnamon lover, can’t disagree with him 🙂

Chicken and zucchini pie

I can say that this is almost the same as Zucchini pie with tuna just tuna changed to chicken. Also I can say that I found out it only after a few times I baked this pie. Their taste are very different. They both are favourites in our family. Just now I bake with chicken more, because my kids don”t eat tuna, but pie with the chicken eats one of my kids.
