Berry and yogurt jelly

Very light and easy to prepare dessert. This time I used black currants. Personally I wanted more sweetness, but for my children this dessert was very delicious.

Berry and yogurt jelly

Time needed:
Yields: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 750 g natural yoghurt
  • 225 g berries (may be frozen, just thaw before using)
  • 3 tbsps. gelatine
  • 3 tbsps. sugar

Directions:

  • Bloat 2 tablespoons of gelatine in 3 tablespoons of warm water.
  • Thaw it on low heat.
  • Let gelatine cool a little bit and mix with yogurt and sugar.
  • Divide yogurt jelly between 6 glasses and put them in the fridge for half-an-hour.
  • In the meantime remaining gelatine bloat in 2 tablespoons of water.
  • Thow it on the low heat.
  • Puree berries, mix them with 100 ml water and gelatine and distribute it on yogurt jelly.
  • Place in the fridge till berry jelly will be set.
  • Enjoy!

Chicken, marinated in yoghurt

I looked for good chicken marinate for a long time. And when i finally tried this, I knew that this is what I was looking for. First time we baked on the grill chicken chunks on skewers and it was delicious. The next time I prepared chicken roasts and I think I over baked and the meat was a little bit too dry. But I know what I did wrong and the next time I will do everything good 🙂 And for sure I will prepare this marinate more than one more time.

Cheesecake with almonds and blueberries

This cake is really simple. Only the base is very crumbly. Next time I will add a little bit more butter. But… maybe it”s because I used not oat cookies but shortbread cookies. My hubbe even frightened me – took one bite and moved plate toward me… The first thought – he didn”t like it. BUT I was very happy when he asked to put MORE! 🙂

Blueberries cake with yoghurt

For the fathers day I made this cake. And it disappeared in minutes, almost everyone repeated. But I have to confess – I didn’t bake sponge, I used bought ones. Next time, I’m sure there will be next time, I will bake it. I really recommend to bake this cake!

Yoghurt cake with currant cream

Maybe this is the last recipe with currants this year. This time with white currants, because I just love them. I decided to use them in this cake, although you can use black or red currants. First time I did everything by the recipe – and currant seeds were annoying. Second time boiled currants I strained through the mesh – but then cream wasn’t so refreshing. So the next time I will go the easy way and leave seeds 🙂

I made this little one for my beloved husband on his birthday. We usually don’t celebrate birthdays but this year decided to do it different way and invited relatives. And we got equally 12 people – and the cake is exactly for 12 servings. But the cake is really big, so I guess we had a little piece left for next day breakfast.
