  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 egg, litghtly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel
  • 160 g oats
  • 125 g raisins

    • In another bowl mix both kinds of sugar and soft butter (don”t melt it).

Maybe not the real ones but really tasty kibinai

Maybe not the real ones but really tasty kibinai

I must confess – I have never ate the real kibinai ? But this weekend we had some guests who likes kibinai a lot, and they said that these kibinai are very good (kibinai also agreed with guests “cause they disappeared from the plate very fast ? )

Moliūginiai keksiukai su šokolado gabaliukais

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

These muffins are really good, because they are very moist, not very sweet and of course – they are with chocolate! My kids just love them and at one time ate almost everything (my hubby helped them a little bit 🙂 ). So we agreed that we will repeat very soon.

Granola su medumi

Granola with honey

Granola that smells honey, but very crunchy and addictive like sunflowers. Everytime I prepare it, half of it I eat alone – without milk, just like crunchy cookies. Even my hubby loved it, just honey is not recommended for him, so next time I will prepare it with golden syrup instead of honey. And I like this granola without any mix-ins!

Pūsti ryžai su džiovintais vaisiais

Puffed rice with dried fruits

At first I was very sceptical about this recipe, because I thought that butterscotch and dried fruits won’t fit together. I was wrong and I am very happy about that 🙂 Dried fruits are perfect here, the dessert is not too sweet because of them.

Braškių ir rabarbarų pyragas

Strawberry and rhubarb cake

It’s very bad when you don’t write the recipe in the blog after you eat the cake 🙂 Then you have to look for the recipe for a few days. I baked this cake when we were going to the village and strawberries were still in the season. It had to be all strawberry, but I had no time so I use rhubarbs as they were near me. Rhubarb and strawberry combination isn’t new – it fits perfectly. And the texture of the cake is more like sponge than a teacake. I liked it very much.
