Chicken in the cream and paprika sauce

One more easy and simple, as a lot of others, chicken dishes. I decided to try something new, because I”m a little bit tired to prepare chicken in a cream sauce and all the time overeat. This recipe is a little bit similar, just new seasons gives the new taste. And really don’t remember, we overate or didn’t 🙂

Chicken in the cream and paprika sauce

Time needed:
Yields: 4 servings
Calories: 453 kcal / serving

Ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt
  • peppers
  • 1 tbsp. paprika powders
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • 250 g cream, 10% fat
  • 1 tbsp. oil for frying

Directions:

  • Cut fillet to stipes and season with salt and peppers.
  • Cut onion in squares, garlic – to small chunks.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Put chicken and fry till it browns nicely. Take chicken from the pan and put to the warm place.
  • In the meantime, in the same pan fry onions and garlic. Then sprinkle over them flour and paprika.
  • Fry for a minute and then pour cream and put chicken. Stew for about 3 minutes more, till sauce will become thicker.
  • Serve sprinkled with greens.
  • Enjoy!

Spicy chicken wings

When the weather was not so warm, we still wanted something to snack with beer. So I corrected a little bit the recipe and baked this wings in the oven. Now I think that we should repeat them, just bake this time on the grill. Anyway in the marinate used so many spices that I was afraid of them at first, but wings baked so good that even my hubby who hates caraway, couldn’t say anything bad about them 🙂

I adore lemon in all dishes, maybe except in yeasted buns 🙂 And I am very happy that my family feels the same. Long time ago I prepared chicken Piccata by Forelle recipe. This was also great, just there is sauce more and lemon more 🙂 I guess the best would be the combination of my and Forelle recipes – more sauce and lemon juice in moderation.

Chicken with Baked Rhubarb

I do as always – I add recipe here only when rhubarb season is over. Even if I prepared this in the beginning of the season. But this dish is suitable for those who like sweet and sour food and for those who like meat with fruits. In the baked chicken we tasted rhubarb only a little bit, and the whole chicken taste was great. Also, I blended baked rhubarbs and served as the sauce – it was really delicious for me and my daughter.
