I do not know how it is in your family, but in mine quinoa didn’t find its way to our stomach. On the other hand, I should say, until now. Because no recipes that I have tried before were enjoyed, and this smoothie was gone quicker than I said “It’s with quinoa”. So the next day I made it again, and ask if anyone wants to drink it, and both kids shouted “YES!!!”. Therefore, you understand why I add this smoothie recipe here
Strawberry smoothie with quinoa
Time needed:
Yields: 4 servings
Calories: 174 kcal / serving
Ingredients:
1 cup = 237 ml
- 1 cup milk (I tried with rice or usual cow milk, both were good)
- 1 cup greek yoghurt
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 2 cup strawberries (I used frozen, so it weighted ~400 g)
- 1 tbsp. sugar syrup or more (other sweeteners can be used)
- 1 tsp. vanilla sugar (optional)
Directions:
- Add everything to the blender.
- Blend till solid texture.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by your taste.
- Pour into glasses.
- Enjoy!
