Minced meat and broccoli pies

It’s a perfect lunch in an office! For preparation you can use yesterdays meatballs, and in this case you will use less time for making this pie. I give you here a little bit changed crust amounts, because I like when the crust is thinner.

Minced meat and broccoli pie

Time needed:
Yields: 8 servings
Calories: 392 kcal / serving

Ingredients:

  • Crust:
  • 180 g flour
  • 70 g sour cream
  • 70 g butter
  • pinch salt
  • Filling:
  • 250 g minced meat, prepared for the meatballs
  • 2 tbsps. oil
  • 200 g broccoli
  • 1 big onion
  • peppers
  • salt
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g sour cream

Directions:

  • First of all need to prepared crust. Blend together flour and butter till the crumbs forms. Then add sour cream and salt and knead the dough. On a floured surface roll the dough and line with it 26 cm diameter pie form.
  • Take minced meat and form about walnut size balls. Shortly bake them from both sides in a pan with oil. Put meatballs on a pie crust.
  • Cut broccoli into small branches (if using frozen broccoli, just pour for a few minutes boiling water and strain) and put between meatballs.
  • Peal an onion, chop and fry lightly in an oil. Then put then on broccoli and meatballs. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Beat egg with sour cream in a bowl. Season with salt and peppers. Pour mixture over pie.
  • Bake pie in a preheated to 175°C oven about 30 minutes, while pie top will brown nicely. Then let cool a little bit and enjoy!

This meal is for cauliflower lovers 🙂 One of them is my little daughter. The other – me 🙂 The fact that my daughter ate this dish the next day too, shows that it is very delicious 🙂 Only I used only cauliflowers, but believe that with broccoli the taste would be great also.
