Chicken with cinnamon and paprika

Cinnamon always associates with Christmas. So when autumn comes, we all tend to bake apple pies which almost every time are seasoned with cinnamon. But this spice is used not only for sweets. With it you can really prepare very tasty and also healthy dishes. One of them – chicken with cinnamon and paprika. And even if you are not used to cinnamon in non sweet meals, I can say that in here it gives only a very mild aroma and a good pinch of bitterness and cosiness. And paprika has a lot of vitamin C, so it’s really good if you don’t want to get cold.

Šiltos makaronų salotos su fetos sūriu

Warm pasta salads with feta

The weather is getting cold so I was looking for the warm food, but I didn’t want anything heavy so I suggest you to try this pasta dish with vegetables. It’s satisfying but refreshing at the same time (because of tomatoes).

Saldžiarūgštė vištiena

Sweet and sour chicken

After lunch I had boiled potato leftover, so I let my fantasy take me away 🙂 These arrows are really greate and cheese is here a must. But you should be careful with the salt, because cheese already has it inside.

Vištiena, marinuota saldžiame čili padaže

Chicken, marinated in a sweet chilli sauce

We love chicken, but it’s very hard to find good chicken marinade to bake it on the grill. And know I know that it’s not the fault of the recipes, it’s because we a lot of time overbake it. The last time we baked chicken on the grill I was walking around the grill and watched that no one overbaked it 🙂 I looked strange, but… what can we do if we want to taste food good 🙂

Vištienos ir ryžių salotos su kariu

Chicken and rice salads with curry

I decided to prepare something new for our already boring quick menu. This dish is very quick, if you do like me – boil chicken a day before. My hubby commended. I asked him maybe the dish is so good because almost all the week we ate what we had on hand? But he assured that no and ate almost everything, leaving just a few bites for my next day lunch… You can enjoy these salads and cold, and warm.

Kiniškos vištienos salotos

Chinese chicken salads

These salads are so easy to prepare, that you just have to make them for your lunch in the office or for a light dinner. By the way, chicken breast boils very quickly – just boil water with seasonings, put chicken breast and boil for 10 minutes. And that’s all. So you see, even with chicken breast boiling these salads are super quickly made.
